Uncover the story of Kirkpatrick – our long-standing heritage, our dedication to quality, our skilled workforce, our handmade approach and even the latest goings-on too.
We have more than 160 years’ experience, crafting beautiful ironwork under the same roof in Walsall where it all began back in 1855.
We believe our 160-year tradition for producing handmade ironmongery, utilising the skills of our local workforce, gives Kirkpatrick products a style, authenticity and longevity that cannot be matched by less expensive, poor quality imitations.
We’ve more than 70 skilled craftsmen and women at Kirkpatrick, many of whom have been with us for generations. Each is a vital cog in the wheel of our business.
From pouring to packing, each stage is performed by our own fair hands — making us the only ironwork company whose malleable iron products are genuinely handmade in Britain from start to finish.
Although much of Kirkpatrick hasn’t changed significantly in over 160 years, there’s always something new going on within our team, in our factory or with our products – which you can keep up-to-date with right here.
